Hello,
I am Matthew and I have been a science teacher for 7 years. Before this I completed and undergraduate degree in biomedical science and then a masters course in immunology and allergy.
I thoroughly enjoy teaching science and try to show my enthusiasm for the subject in every lesson I teach. I personalise the learning for each student, ensuring that they have understood concepts before moving on. I will spend time applying these new concepts using a variety of resources to both engage and challenge. Exam technique is often a sticking point for students. I will help my students to unlock the questions so they are able to effectively answer them.

Experience: I am a Science teacher with 7 years experience teaching secondary school students. I have taught at all stages of secondary, KS3, 4 and 5. I specialise in Biology at KS4 and 5 but I am more than able to teach Chemistry and Physics at GCSE level as well. I have taught OCR and AQA GCSE and A-level so I am familiar with these schemes of work. At KS3 I have taught many different boards across all 3 scientific disciplines.
