Information about Amy
Teacher of Social Science, currently teaching Sociology and Health and Social Care in a large Academy in Hackney. I have a history of enabling students to achieve excellent Sociology results with 100% A*-C in both GCSE and A-Level in 2017 and 100% A*-C at A-Level in 2018, 89% at GCSE in 2019 100% A-C at A-Level.
I currently teach the topics of Beliefs in Society and Family and Households for the AQA A-Level, yet I have experience of teaching Crime and Deviance and Culture and Identity. I am an AQA market having marked paper 2 for the A-Level examination.
I am a friendly and approachable teacher with an excellent understanding of the examination and exam technique. I hold excellent knowledge of all Sociology topics having studied the subject myself at GCSE, A-Level and Degree Level

She’s very punctual always on time, funny and very focus during her tutoring, she has helped me to understand topics which I didn’t know before, her personality and approach to teaching enabled me to be more interested in the subject, thanks Amy. Oh, she’s always smiling which is a bonus. I haven’t had her long enough for a 5 star..

My daughter is being taught A Level Sociology by Amy and she thinks she is a great teacher. She has a friendly,easy manner and explains concepts clearly and comprehensively. She is efficient and organised and has excellent resources.
