Background:

In July 2018 I graduated from the University of Warwick with an upper second class honours degree (2.1) in Biochemistry. Prior to university, I attended Tiffin School, where I achieved an A* grade in GCSE Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry as well as an A grade in A-Level Mathematics. Currently, I am a Finance Consultant at a leading professional services firm in London.

In my spare time outside of my current job, I am now looking to tutor students for primary level Maths, English, Biology or Chemistry (KS3 or lower) and teach them valuable skills to help them succeed throughout their education. I am also looking to support students with their 11+ preparation.

I am a friendly, helpful and ambitious individual who loves to help other people achieve their goals. Having benefitted first-hand from a variety of different tutoring strategies in the past, I have developed a strong understanding of the skills needed to tutor effectively. My approach is based around exam technique, active recall and creating an atmosphere where any questions are encouraged to be asked. I believe it`s vital for kids to enjoy and be naturally curious about their studies and this is an environment which I strive to foster. In light of this I believe I will be hugely beneficial as a tutor.

Availability: I am available on weekends (can be flexible with hours) and am happy to travel to my students location if it is relatively close to where I live.
