Information about Rachel
I am a Year 6 teacher and have spent all my teaching career in Years 5&6. I am passionate about UKS2 and ensuring children are prepared for secondary school and, of course, SATs.
I have a fun but no nonsense approach to learning and look to find approaches that mean something to children and encourage them to make links between different areas of their learning.
Availability: I am currently available on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 4:30pm - 7:30pm although I am flexible on other days but further discussion would be needed to ensure time slots would work for both parties.
Willing to travel: 8 miles
Experience: I have taught English in China and French in France (to British children) and have spent the last 5 years teaching in the UK in Years 5&6 and I am the Key Stage lead in my school.
