Hi, I`m Gareth, I offer online economics tutoring for students during their GCSE`s or A levels, currently I`m in my second year of Economics at Bristol and am expected to get a first. Throughout my studies I`ve informally tutored a number of my fellow coursemates as I found it was a great way to learn and I enjoyed it. I`m very patient and understanding as I haven`t always found my subjects easy and know very well how much 1 on 1 teaching can make a huge difference to your academics, as I had been tutored online for furthermaths during covid for my A levels.

My sessions will first focus on teaching the underlying key concepts to build understanding, then teaching exam technique, specifically essay structure and how to reduce unnecessary waffle to help with time pressure as well as making answers more concise. Once this is taught I will set practice exam questions as homework to cement the newly built understanding and then we can go through these together during lessons, I`ve often found that many can understand economics but are unable to convey this in the way examiners want which I have been especially able to help with.

Availability: I`m very flexible and am only limited by my university timetable during term time.
