My passion in Spanish and aiming to make a difference in education led me to a noble profession of teaching. I am a competent teacher, a graduate of English Philology specializing in Modern Foreign Languages (MFLs). As speaking Spanish is my mother tongue, I can communicate fluently in Spanish. As born and bred in Spain, I know perfectly the Spanish culture; I also travel a lot mostly in the United Kingdom, ergo I am accustomed to the British way of living. My eagerness to learn languages made me decide to enroll in the Erasmus programme for a year at Durham University in the UK where I studied MLFs and History whilst developing my knowledge in global languages, I delivered Spanish lessons to small groups, this has given me a new outlook on student-teacher relations. I am a long-serving Spanish teacher since 2013 with experiences at different levels from elementary proficiency to full-professional competence (i.e beginners to advanced learners). Also, I have experience as an English teacher in 2012.

I am well experienced in working with kids aging from 7 and up as well as adult from 18 and above. My mind was opened to a profound duty of teaching while I was studying and teaching at the same time hence I committed myself to teach even after I graduated. I have been doing my level at best with that in mind I have been keeping myself apprised of the latest rules and regulation in the department of education in the country. I have worked with multiple language academies and several public schools as well. I love working with people from different cultures and backgrounds. I am very resilient, tenacious and approachable.

I am currently working in a secondary school teaching KS3 AND 4. This is helping me to further my knowledge and skills in teaching. Therefore, with my spare time, I am looking forward to honing to do one to one or online lessons, which I am confident to expound.

I use different strategies to connect with the students in my classes, pertaining to teacher-student rapport, as I want my students to speak Spanish fluently as well as passing their exams with flying colors. I always provide my materials so students will not struggle to follow the lessons presented to them.

Before the first class, I always prepare individual lesson-plans and presentations for each student, as I know everyone is different and everyone has different needs.
