I love teaching students of all ages and abilities and enjoy helping them to feel the sense of accomplishment and confidence that comes with exceeding their target grades.

Experience: I am the Head of English at one of the most successful and over-subscribed schools in the country where students usually exceed their target grades. I have a PhD in English, an MA (with Distinction) and a 1st class degree in English and have taught for over 10 years in the state and private sector, as well as at a Russell Group university as an associate lecturer. I regularly work as an examiner for the AQA and Edexcel exam boards, which gives me unique insights into what the examiners are looking for. I have written numerous study guides for GCSE students to help students prepare for both their literature and language exams.
