I love teaching students of all ages and abilities and enjoy helping them to feel the sense of accomplishment and confidence that comes with exceeding their target grades.

Availability: I currently have availability on Tuesday and Thursday evenings between 7-9pm. Please get in touch though as I might be able to reorganise my schedule.

Experience: I am the Head of English at the West London Free School, which is in the top 30 best performing state schools in the country. I have a PhD in English, an MA (with Distinction) and a 1st class degree in English and have taught for over 15 years in the state and private sector, as well as at a Russell Group university as an associate lecturer. I regularly work as an examiner for the AQA and Edexcel exam boards at both GCSE and A-Level, which gives me unique insights into what examiners are looking for. I have written numerous study guides for GCSE students to help students prepare for both their literature and language exams. I love to help pupils in a one-to-one setting, providing tailored support, right the way through the process.
