Sophie

I`m a 25-year old scientist with a first class BSc in biological sciences and a Masters degree in immunology research. I went to Peter Symonds College and studied A Levels in: Chemistry, Biology and Literature. I have tutored before for GCSE and I`m currently a teaching assistant in secondary schools. My specialties are Chemistry, Biology and Literature. I can also help with, Health and Social Care. I provide all my own resources as part of my hourly rate and have developed many exam/revision skills through being a student. I can teach As level Biology or Chemistry too. I was a peer workshop helper in college and have experience in working with students of similar and younger ages. I was also a mental health mentor within college where I have also received listening and communication training which ensures my communication with students is effective and empathetic. Exams and education is extensively stressful and so I aim to share advice and studying skills to ease the workload while adding a friendly face to talk about any worries with, alongside some well planned revision time.

I charge £20 an hour

Availability: Most weekdays and weekends, flexible to your needs.

Willing to travel: 5 miles
