I`m a 27-year old 2nd year Medical Student at Southampton University with a first class BSc in Biological sciences and a Masters degree in scientific research. I went to Peter Symonds College and studied A Levels in: Chemistry, Biology and Literature. I have tutored for 4 years for GCSE as well as being a teaching assistant in secondary schools through my studies. My specialties are Chemistry, Biology and Literature. I can also help with, Health and Social Care. I provide all my own resources as part of my hourly rate such as written notes, guided questions and question and answer packs as well as powerpoints. I have developed many exam/revision skills through being a student and I can teach AS level Biology or Chemistry. I was a peer workshop helper in college and have experience in working with students of similar and younger ages. I was also a mental health mentor within college where I have also received listening and communication training which ensures my communication with students is effective and empathetic. Exams and education is extensively stressful and so I aim to share advice and studying skills to ease the workload while adding a friendly face to talk about any worries with, alongside some well planned revision time.
