Hi, my name is Emma and I have recently graduated with a first class integrated master’s degree in Biochemistry from University College London (UCL). I will be starting my PhD in October, which I am really excited for as I am obsessed with science and love research! Throughout my studies I have enjoyed learning and I am keen to pass on what I learnt in a way that really makes sense. I achieved A*s in all my science GCSEs, followed by As in A level Biology and Chemistry. I also have a good grasp on the exam techniques required to get full marks and so I can help you tackle those pesky exam questions with confidence! I am a friendly and kind tutor, who is full of praise and patience to help you achieve your very best. I offer online tutoring only, so that distance is not a restriction as well as allowing more flexibility in your day.

Experience: I first tutored during my A levels, where I helped AS students understand concepts that didn’t make sense in the classroom. In higher education I provided both academic and pastoral support to first year students, allowing them to tackle their first university exams. I know first hand how daunting and difficult exams and assessments can be as well as not wanting to ask questions in the classroom when you are confused. I aim to create an environment that conquers these problems and allows you to really understand science.
I am currently waiting for my final qualification certificate for my degree.
