Hello!

I am a young, enthusiastic and friendly dental student currently studying at the University of Leeds.

I thoroughly enjoy working with people of all ages, due to having experience with tutoring in my high school career and providing advice as a leader in my previous Sixth Form’s Medical Society. I have a strong academic background, having received 7 subjects at Grade 9 (Above A* Grade) and 2 subjects at Grade 8 (A* Grade) at GCSE. In A-Levels, I obtained 3A*s in Biology, Chemistry and Maths, as well as an A* in EPQ (Extended Project Qualification). Since I have completed the GCSEs and A-Levels according to the new syllabus, I can teach up-to-date knowledge on these subjects to ensure that you can achieve the best grade possible!

I am flexible, organised and supportive to your needs. I aim to help students feel confident and comfortable with their subjects so they can achieve top grades. I can adapt teaching methods to suit my students, encouraging them to tackle increasingly difficult questions!

Besides tutoring, I have had experience in teaching piano. I am Diploma level in piano, and I enjoy playing both the piano and violin!

I specifically give advice on personal statements for medicine/ dentistry applications.

Availability: I am available to tutor in the evenings of weekdays or during the weekend.

Experience: I have mentored a range of ages in a variety of subjects during Secondary school, and I have also participated in a community science outreach programme. I currently partake in a mentoring scheme for dental applicants online, and I was a leader of my Sixth Form’s Medical Society. I have also been tutoring students online for the past few years, across a range of subjects. Specifically maths, my students have achieved top grades in this subject.
