I am currently a trainee solicitor specialising in family law having recently completed my LLB and LPC. I am currently doing my masters in Law.

I can tutor subjects and modules in English, Biology and Law. I can also assist in reviewing and improving coursework at any level.

My focus on tutoring lies predominantly on exam techniques and ensuring an improvement in grades. I believe with patience and determination, every student is capable of achieving the top grades. My sessions are therefore based on practising exam style questions, establishing their weaknesses and then understanding and implementing the skills required to promote better marks.

I appreciate that each subject must be taught differently, and a range of techniques should be utilised for each and every individual. By personalising the teaching method, it will allow students to grasp the concepts of the topic. Everyone learns differently, and it is this factor of establishing what works best for a student which I enjoy discovering and then applying to see an improvement in grades and confidence. My enthusiasm and determination to help students perfect this skill makes teaching an interest for me and so I hope to not only teach academic studies, but also help my tutees grow as individuals and as academic students while learning to believe in their own capability.

Availability: All evenings during weekdays. Available all weekend.

Experience: - 3+ years’ experience teaching students ranging from the ages of 13-21
- Helping a student initially on grade 4 English achieve grade 7 within 6 months
- Experience in tutoring GCSE English under 3 different examination boards
- Experience in tutoring GCSE Biology
- Experience in tutoring Law at undergraduate level
- Assisting in coursework for all subjects
