I am a full time professional tutor with an exceptional track record. I am a specialist in online tuition and my lessons are always very interactive. My students become much more confident and gain a thorough understanding that enables them to successfully tackle unseen exam questions. Over 95% of my pupils have gained the A*, most of whom joined me when they were on B, C or D grades. Some of my students have scored 100% in A level exam papers and I have helped over 100 students get into Oxford, Cambridge or Medicine. As well as tutoring biology, chemistry and maths I also thoroughly enjoy helping students to excel in UCAT and BMAT.

George has really helped my daughter improve her confidence in maths, since starting lessons with him she has commented on how she now understands things she has covered with George when they come up in class and she is feeling a lot less stressed about her upcoming maths GCSE. Indi wanted face to face tuition and was very reticent about trying online tuition. However, she straight away found that she was much more comfortable with it and was also surprised by how much she enjoyed the lessons and how quickly her maths improved. Her confidence has come on leaps and bounds and she is now in a position to do exceptionally well in her GCSE maths. I have really enjoyed helping her and I wish her every success in the GCSE exams. My son was struggling to see how Chemistry GCSE was fitting together. George took my son for a weekly lesson over the course of 3-4 months. During that time George used bookwork to explore where my sons areas of weakness were and then helped him understand how to address those. In the end my son decided he would prefer to do the study alone without a tutor. George kindly offered to keep a space open for my son in case he changed his mind and gave me helpful feedback on how my son was doing. I would be happy to re-use George as a tutor.

It was an absolute pleasure to help Toby get to grips with GCSE chemistry and move up through the grades to a secure grade 9. As well as sorting out the trickier topic areas we did a lot of work with exam technique and past papers and he is now entirely capable of doing everything himself. Hopefully the confidence and the skills that he has gained will have transferred over to his other subjects and he will gain a raft of grade 9s in the summer. I wish him every success. George taught my daughter UCAT. He is a very supportive tutor who gives useful feedback after each lesson. My daughter had only 3 lessons with George and she said he explains things well and it helped build her confidence greatly. She scored 2720 in her exam which she is very happy with.

George is a superb tutor in every way. My daughter was in a total flap about UCAT and heading for about 2400 but we saw an immediate change after the first lesson with George and she gained an amazing 2980. George is also helping her with biology and chemistry and his teaching is exceptional. She has her confidence back, is on course for A*s thanks to George, and I am a very happy mum!

George is an absolutely amazing tutor who has exceeded my expectations in every possible way and choosing him to tutor my children has been one of the very best decisions of my life. I have 4 children; with Molly we tried various tutors with little success and then we found George. What a difference! Straight A*s and Medicine at Cambridge was the end result. Wow, thank you, thank you, thank you! Next up was Sebastian. It`s all fine mum, just need to learn the revision guide and do a bunch of past papers. Well after D`s in the mocks we called on George and again A*s were the result and Seb just loved him. I`m writing this today after Charles, child number 3, has just got straight A*s with George tutoring him for biology, chemistry and maths. He`s off to Oxford for Medicine. George is the total professional who knows all the ins and outs of what the exam boards are after in the detail that teachers never seem to know and his teaching techniques are absolutely fabulous. He is punctual, always flexible, keeps me in the loop, is kind and thoughtful, but knows exactly when it is time to be very firm and push my children to excel and do far better than they ever thought was possible. He is now tutoring number child number 4 and is already regarded as a demigod who ranks far above parents! George is new to TutorHunt but the feedback on here will soon be jam packed with 5 star reviews just as it is with the other sites he is on so get in quick! I cannot recommend highly enough, he is a total lifesaver!
