I am a full time professional tutor with an exceptional track record. I am a specialist in online tuition and my lessons are always very interactive. My students become much more confident and gain a thorough understanding that enables them to successfully tackle unseen exam questions. Over 95% of my pupils have gained the A*, most of whom joined me when they were on B, C or D grades, and nearly every year I will take a student from a U all the way to the A*. Some of my students have scored 100% in A level exam papers and I have helped over 100 students get into Oxford, Cambridge or Medicine. As well as tutoring biology, chemistry and maths I also thoroughly enjoy helping students to excel in UCAT and BMAT. George is an incredibly thorough Chemistry tutor who knows both how to structure his sessions to ensure maximum value for students, and direct high-yield self-guided learning in between classes. His approach ensures great familiarity with past papers and exam style questions and employs a combination of first-principles understanding and extensive exam technique practice. He has a knowledge of mark schemes and examiner idiosyncracies that is a huge asset for anyone seeking to boost their grade in A-level Chemistry, where understanding unfortunately is not everything, but being able to apply knowledge in the specific way the exam boards desire is equally important. I can highly recommend this approach to anyone who wants a sharp increase in their A Level performance in any subject. After working with George you will realise that you know much more than it feels like you do when confronted with a past paper, as he will help break down any problem into manageable chunks better suited to your current knowledge and learning style. Though I have not yet finished studying with George, I feel I have a much better understanding of both the course content and what examiners are looking for already, and feel much more capable to guide my own revision outside of sessions too. I have had tutors before and been underwhelmed, but George has left me seriously impressed and I would highly recommend his services!

Thank you Sam for posting this amazing feedback. For those of you who are wondering about the quality of Sam`s writing I should give you some context. Sam did humanities for A levels, went to Oxford for his first degree, and stayed at Oxford to do a Masters. He has realised that he actually wants to be a doctor and he has managed to get 4 offers for medicine but Cambridge have told him he has to get an A grade in A level chemistry and this is what we are now working on. George has helped me so much in both biology and chemistry a level. I always struggled with exam technique and by doing exam questions together, I have gained so much confidence and knowledge. He`s exactly what you need to improve grades and get that A/A*. Highly recommend!!

George has excellent teaching methods , subject knowledge and he is flexible when it comes to rearranging lessons if needed. My daughter is progressing very well at school and her confidence has grown to a such high level that she is applying what she has learned from George. I will definitely recommend him as tutor.
