I graduated from the University of Bath with an Integrated Masters degree in Chemistry for Drug Discovery in 2019, achieving an Upper Second-Class Honours (2.1). I currently work as a scientist within the pharmaceutical industry and enjoy working within an innovative culture. My career driven nature, personable character and ability to make others feel at ease has led me to explore tutoring in my spare time. My most recent experience includes tutoring degree level chemistry to a student studying at Imperial College London.

I am currently offering in person and online tutoring in Chemistry (GCSE and A Level). One of my future career goals include helping students reach their potential and I will bring my determination and enthusiasm to ensure I deliver a fantastic learning experience to my students.

I spent my year in industry working within the pharmaceutical industry. My work focused on the development of life-saving products.

As part of my role, I enjoyed teaching work experience student’s new techniques and participating in school outreach programmes, inspiring young people to consider a career in science. My ability to adjust my delivery approach appropriately to responses of my audience is one of my key attributes.

I am excited to help my students excel through my passion for science and research. By providing real life context into my lesson plans will help increase engagement in the learning process as students gain valuable insights into real life applications of the skills they’re being taught.

My laboratory experiences and excellent problem-solving skills are a strong foundation for me to conduct well-informed and inquisitive decisions when teaching.

Working with a diverse range of people through numerous mentor and voluntary roles has taught me to take a style of leadership in which I take a balanced approach in a desire to perform with a strong emphasis on compassionate attention with whoever I am working with.

Georgia has been a fantastic help for my daughter and really gone the extra mile. She was always punctual and her teaching was spot on and just what my daughter needed to help her through her Chemistry A level. Would definitely recommend.
