*Strong track record in quickly improving GCSE and A-Level grades*

I am an experienced science and maths tutor who currently works as a researcher in the Department of Chemistry at the University of York.
I love science and I hope to be able to pass on some of that passion and understanding during our tutoring sessions. I completed a PhD in chemistry in 2013 and have been teaching and researching a wide range of topics ever since.
I can provide a structured program of tutoring that can cover the whole syllabuses but also one-off topic revision sessions.

Experience: I have been teaching maths and science across a range of levels for the best part of the past 10 years. In my day job, I teach undergraduate students in small groups and I have tutored a number of students at GCSE and A-Level. I have a strong track record in improving students grades in a short space of time. Most recently I have helped a student to go from a grade 4 to grade 8 in maths and physics in just 4 months.

I have worked with students that are aiming to continue studying the sciences at top universities and also those that simply want to improve there grades in order to pursue a wide range of different careers.
