I am a very experienced teacher that has been working in education for 22 years. I am professional and have considerable knowledge of effective learning for students. I have been tutoring for a number of years.


A Level History Areas I have covered recently:

AS - Stuarts, Weimar Republic, British 19th/20th Century and French Revolution

A2 - Tudors, Nazi Germany, USA 1890-1990,and Napoleon

I have also taught European Dictators (Italy/USSR)

GCSE History Areas I have covered recently:

20th Century USA, Weimar and Nazi Germany, 20th Century China, USSR, Voyages of Discovery, Crime and Punhishment and Early 20th Century (Inc WW1)

Experience: I have been a teacher since 1994. (Swansea University) I have worked in a number of schools in South Wales. My subject specialism is History and I have taught Key Stage 3, GCSE and A level for WJEC and Edexcel. In the past I have worked for both these exam boards. I have also taught Geography and Religious Studies to GCSE and have an excellent understanding of Humanities Education. I have been a Head of History, Head of Humanities , Assistant Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher. I have worked as education consultant and have recently returned to classroom in a local Sixth Form College.
