I have been a Maths, Chemistry and Biology tutor for the past 6 years. During this time I have tutor hundreds of students throughout central Scotland and beyond. In the most recent academic year of tutoring (2018-19) over 78% of my students gain a grade A or B in National 5/Higher Maths, Chemistry and Biology. and 100% passed (Grade A-C).

I graduated from Edinburgh University with a masters degree in Chemistry (MChem)in 2014, completing a year in industry working as a process development chemist accounting for my 4th year. I have also completed a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Chemical Engineering, covering a wide range of Chemistry and applied Mathematics. I am an member of the Royal Society of Chemistry (MRSC) and also a Registered Scientist (RSci).

I am currently a PhD student at Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU) in collaboration with the prestigious James Hutton Institute, which is one of the leading research institutes in the world in environmental science.
I am also teaching organic, analytical and physical chemistry modules on the forensic chemistry course at GCU.

Availability: weekends, weekdays. I am very flexible with time.

Experience: I have six years experience private tutoring children and adults from a range of different backgrounds. During this time I have learn that each child/adult is unique and requires a different teaching style in order to get the most from each session. I believe that providing a comfortable and relaxing environment for the student is essential so that they can answer questions they feel they need to ask which they otherwise wouldn`t in class.

My tutoring has mostly been focused on the following subjects and levels:

Maths - National 4 Chemistry - National 5 Biology - National 5
- National 5 - Higher - Higher
- Higher - Advanced Higher

I also cover tuition for casual learners and university level Chemistry.
