Information about Emily

Hi, in September 2015 I graduated from the university of Nottingham with a 2:1 degree in Mathematics and Management. From this I have gained vast knowledge about both of these subjects and have implemented this knowledge into my 18 month career as a European buyer at the FMCG company Mars, based in Slough.

Aside of my role at Mars I am enjoying helping young adults to understand more about mathematics or business to enable them to succeed in their enjoyment and understanding of the subjects whilst achieving the academic requirements they need to progress for their future.

I live in Ealing close to Ealing Broadway and am therefore available to tutor in the local area, however I also have experience of online tutoring via Skype after recently helping my cousin through her Mathematics A-level exams.

Availability: I am available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. As my full time job is a European role I am sometimes required to travel throughout the week, however on this rare occurrence I am happy to still do sessions via Skype or rearrange with my client for a more suitable time.

Willing to travel: 3 miles

Experience: I have experience with online tutoring with family members - I recently helped my cousin through her A-level Mathematics.

I have also received training from a high school Maths teacher in effective teaching styles, and the current curriculum. I have helped younger children in improving their reading and writing through a mentoring scheme. And most importantly doing maths degree meant constant teaching of peers within the Maths community.
