With 5 years of teaching experience, I’m passionate about helping students build confidence, deepen understanding, and achieve their academic goals. I specialise in Primary SEN teaching covering all subjects including Phonics, English, Maths and Science. I also support SATs preparation. My approach is student-centred, focusing on identifying individual learning needs and adapting lessons to support progress at the right pace.

What motivates me most is seeing the moment a concept clicks, those breakthroughs that turn frustration into confidence. I believe that with the right support and encouragement, every student is capable of meaningful improvement.

Each lesson typically lasts one hour and is structured to include a quick review of previous content, clear and focused teaching of the new topic, guided practice with support, and independent tasks to assess understanding. I provide regular feedback and progress updates to keep parents informed and involved.

Whether you need help preparing for assessments, catching up on missed content, or stretching beyond the curriculum, I offer a calm, encouraging environment that helps students engage positively with their learning. My goal is not just to teach, but to inspire lasting academic growth and self-belief.

Availability: I’m available for online and in-person tutoring on weekdays from 5pm onwards, all day on weekends, and have flexible daytime availability during half terms and school holidays. I aim to accommodate families` schedules where possible.

Experience: Since completing my degree in 2018, I’ve worked across a range of educational settings, supporting pupils from Early Years through to Key Stage 3. I began as a Teaching Assistant in primary schools, working closely with pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), before gaining Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and specialising in inclusive education. I now teach in a specialist SEN school using a trauma-informed approach, supporting learners with a wide range of academic and emotional needs.

I have extensive experience tailoring learning for individual pupils and regularly collaborate with professionals such as Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Educational Psychologists. I’m confident in delivering targeted support and adapting lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including those with EHCPs.
