Information about Jason

Friendly easy going Irish man who loves to explain complicated ideas to all levels! Passionate about mathematics and mathematics education. Qualification coming soon! I have just submitted my PhD thesis (See picture: 28/03/2018).

I encourage the method of "learning by doing". In general I find very little knowledge is retained by watching a demonstration. I am also, of course, flexible in my approach as I am aware no two students learn the same way.

Willing to travel: 15 miles

Experience: 5 years of university teaching experience, including workshops, tutorials, computer labs and private tutoring. Experience in private tutoring for A level standard mathematics.
