Experienced both in class and online for a variety of subjects including, Sociology, Law, ESOL and Citizenship (Moral Studies). I am also available to help tutor students through university applications and help with personal statement writing. I provide a unique learning experience for my tutees; lesson observations have always noted that questioning skills are a strength of mine, as is my ability to differentiate for each student. Available at home or GoogleMeets, Teams or Zoom.
My focus in planning is very student centred, finding out what approach works well for each of my students, enables me to design interactive lessons which foster independence in learning. I also like to assess what the student is interested in so that I can incorporate areas of interest into the students lessons. I aim to use specific everyday examples, this can help students feel personally connected to what they’re being taught, so they can apply the material in real life.
