I am a friendly, patient and down to earth person and a trained actress with over 10 years teaching experience from 5- 25 years old. However I find that students from 8+ years are usually more equipped to deal with one to one tutoring.

I am a trained actress from Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts and so I have a lot of first hand acting experience and advice. Since graduating in 2010 I have also been developing my teaching skills and have taught drama and musical theatre for and still do teach for private drama schools in Oxfordshire. I have also previously taught Drama and English in primary and secondary schools.

I have a very approachable manner and am a professional and a perfectionist through and through. I am also extremely hard working, organised and patient. I help a huge range of students: from those who wish to use drama to improve their confidence to students who need help with their GCSE/A Level Drama practical and theory, to students whose dream it is to audition for anything from their school production to drama school. I find that drama can help in all aspects of life by developing speaking, communication and self confidence to name but a few.

Experience: I am a trained actress and studied Musical Theatre at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts for 3 years in London. I have worked as a professional actress and have worked in film, TV, events, site specific, theatre, corporate, and commercial.

I have over 10 years of teaching experience including drama and musical theatre to ages 5-8 for several local theatre schools and private drama tutoring. I have also taught in primary and secondary schools as a cover teacher for Drama and English.

I am DBS checked and can obtain references upon request.

I am interested in working with any student who wishes to work on their acting skills either for school/college/university, their hobby or for drama school auditions or acting examinations.

I have materials which I can work from with the student regarding monologues, duologues etc.

I am less familiar with the GCSE/A Level criteria, but I have previously done cover work in schools and so I am willing to help and to concentrate more on the practical side of drama. I also have an A Level in English and can help with some written work.
