Information about Claire
I am a fully qualified and ambitious English and Creative Writing Teacher.
I have experience teaching functional skills English, Maths and ICT as well as experience teaching GCSE English Literature and Language and I also have experience teaching English to primary pupils.
I have been home tutoring for one year now, not only do I really enjoy it, but I have had 100% pass rate so far.
I am really passionate about English, I enjoy it, and I find that this is what our next generation need to see to be inspired.
I am a strong believer that learning should be fun, and adapted to each individual learner.
Availability: I am available some week nights with notice normally after 6pm and I am available weekends.

Experience: I hold a PGCE in Post-Compulsory Education and Training with specialism in English and Creative Writing. I have worked within offender learning and also teaching functional skills alongside the apprenticeship unit at one of the biggest colleges in the North West. I have been a home tutor for one year teaching from primary level through to A Level.
