Hello, I’m Emmi.

I have a BSc and MSc in Theoretical Particle Physics from The University of Sussex and I have worked at CERN. I also worked for the educational Outreach programme at my university for 2 years. I have many years experience in tutoring (just over 5) in mathematics and physics GCSE and A Level and I am familiar with the new grading system and curriculum.

Tutoring is a passion of mine. I love that moment when a student understands a new concept. I try to make learning as memorable and effective as possible. Not to mention fun! I will work with you as the parent too, to understand your expectations, concerns and how much homework I can hand out to fit with your schedules. I usually invite the parent to watch and participate in the first lesson to ensure we are all happy to progress. I am DBS checked.

Availability: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.

I currently work in an actuarial data science role for a FTSE100 firm.
