Information about Lydia
A practicing artist and educator, working across sculpture, drawing, print, text, public engagement and research. I hold a First Class BA Hons in Fine Art from Leeds College of Art, and an MA in Sculpture from the Royal College of Art with distinction.
I currently work for University of the Arts London as a Short Course tutor, and have experience working with children and adults of all ages and levels. I am fully literate in online learning, with the skills and technology to provide a detailed and immersive learning experience.
I focus a lot on process and experimentation, as that is where I feel art can be such a valuable learning experience, and provides the biggest scope for development of ideas and skills for high achievement at any level. I can also help learners to deepen contextual understanding through research skills, art history knowledge, promoting critical discussion and forming opinions.
Availability: I am available most weekday evenings, Saturday mornings, and at various other times during the week. I also have more availability during school holidays. Just ask me and we can work something out! I will always try to accommodate any requests.
