Hi, I`m Richard. Not only have I been a successful Tutor for eight years, I have taught for over thirty years, in school (State and Independent), out of school and online. It`s not just about the subject matter but of building the student`s confidence, and my tutoring is student led. I have tutored students in Science (separate and combined) and Maths to GCSE as well as Chemistry to A Level. I have also taught IT and Maths.

I have marked GCSE Chemistry papers for a number of years.

I am happy to be flexible with subject (e.g. a combination of Science and Maths), distance (I tend to work at home but could travel for a surcharge for expenses) and when the sessions take place (I would give a discount for more than two hours a week).

I would be happy to try tutoring on Skype or FaceTime.

I love travelling, mainly to France (we have a Twinning) but outside Europe, have visited Canada, USA, Australia and New Zealand.

Availability: Most days and evenings. Can vary from week to week if necessary.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I taught in state and independent schools for over 30 years. I have worked with bullied children face to face and other students, who are not in school, online.
