Hi, my name is Lauryn. I am a recent graduate of the University of Manchester and a current masters student at UCL. I am a diligent and patient tutor confident in tutoring Maths and Biology at KS3 and GCSE level.

Grades:
11 GCSEs (A*-A) (A*s in Mathematics, Biology, English Language and History).
A Level (AAB in Biology, Mathematics and History).
Bsc Psychology (2:1)

Availability: Mon-Fri 9-5pm
Sat-Sun 10am-1pm

Experience: I have 3 years of academic peer mentoring, which includes tutoring and general peer support. Through this role, I have been trained to become an effective tutor for weekly meetings. I have utilised the initiative to independently plan one-on-one tutoring sessions to make them engaging yet helpful.

A typical tutoring session includes: collaborative goal-setting to increase engagement and ambition, a recap of the previous session, introduction of learning objectives and new content, practise questions, followed by marking and feedback.

I have great knowledge in Mathematics, Biology and Statistics.
