I am a German native speaker with a degree in German and English and a teaching qualification. I am enthusiastic about my subject, passionate about teaching, and calm and patient with my students.
Availability: Generally, 18.00 to 21.00, Tuesday evenings, Friday between 10.00 and 15.00.
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: Having taught at two British universities as well as the Open University for some years, I have been an A-Level German teacher at three sixth form colleges for the past 24 years. I have also taught GCSE German as an enrichment course. I have experience of three exam boards(Edexcel, Aqa and Eduqas) and have conducted oral exams as a teacher examiner.

Petra was great! We asked her for two lessons just before my son`s GCSE speaking test, so it was all a bit last minute, but I`m very glad we did it. Petra planned out the lessons with plenty of time to practice, and my son felt much more confident as a result.

Petra is a great German Tutor and my daughter looks forward to her lessons. Petra is punctual and very polite. should something change at short notice she is always willing to swap the lesson from face to face to an online lesson. If you need a Good German tutor I recommend using Petra.
