I am a fully qualified teacher of Secondary Maths. I have experience of teaching KS3, GCSE and A-level Maths and GCSE Statistics. I have a patient, laid back approach and a real passion for the subject of Maths.

I have marked GCSE exam papers for Pearson/Edexcel for the past 4 years. This has given me a deeper understanding of exam mark schemes and allowed me to develop teaching strategies to help students maximise their marks and avoid common mistakes.

I would be happy to tutor KS3, GCSE or A-level Maths.

Availability: I am currently available for online sessions.

Experience: I am currently working as Maths Key Stage 4 Lead at a secondary school where I have responsibility for students` progress and attainment at GCSE. I have over 10 years of experience teaching in schools, including teaching GCSE Statistics and Level 3 Core Maths, as well as KS3 and GCSE Maths.
During my time teaching I have worked as Key Stage 5 Coordinator, and completed a course in Teaching Advanced
Mathematics. I have also mentored trainee teachers. I am currently training to become a Secondary Mastery Specialist.
I have also worked in a Secondary Academy as an intervention tutor where I taught personalised lessons to small groups to try to fill identified gaps in their knowledge and help improve their understanding of topics.
Before completing my teacher training in the UK I taught English as a second language for a year in South Korea.
