I am an experienced teacher who works part-time in a secondary school teaching A level and IB psychology. Prior to this I was a head of department managing a range of different subjects.
Availability: Tuesday PM, Wednesday PM and Saturday mornings

Experience: I have been teaching psychology for over 15 years, as well as Health and Social Care and Functional Skills. I have been an examiner for OCR, and am currently an examiner for another exam board.

My daughter went to Lisa for several months in the lead up to her A levels to improve her psychology essay-writing technique. Lisa was extremely supportive and excellent at giving my daughter the advice, motivation and support she needed. As a result, my daughter was awarded an A grade for her psychology A level. We are delighted and I can highly recommend Lisa to anyone who needs help in this subject.

Lisa has been tutoring our daughter for a couple of months now. Lisa was immediately responsive to the initial enquiry and all subsequent correspondence has been professional and prompt. Our daughter has enjoyed each session and is definitely benefiting from the close attention and direct feedback provided. As with many teenagers and their numerous activities, we have needed some degree of flexibility in the scheduling of the sessions and Lisa has readily accommodated these changes when possible. Overall, we are really pleased to have found Lisa and would definitely recommend her to anyone searching for a psychology tutor.

My daughter has been with Lisa for a few weeks now. She enjoys her time with her and she is gaining confidence with every lesson.
She is always well prepared and my daughter can message her with a query and lisa responds really quickly.My daughter feels comfortable asking any questions or repeating an explanation again.
