I am an experienced and qualified English teacher and tutor. I have been teaching since 2008 and during this time have taught English to a wide variety of age ranges (KS2-KS4) and abilities. I also have extensive experience of teaching English as an additional language- having spent 3 years working in China.

I am highly experienced in teaching and marking the new GCSE spec to AQA, Edexcel, Cambridge and OCR exam boards. All of my tutees in the exam cohort that has just passed, achieved higher than their predicted level. One of my previous tutees went from a 2 in their February mock to a 5 in the real exam.

Please note, I am often fully booked close to exam periods. Therefore I advise parents to book in with plenty of notice. Please take a look at my references to see examples of what I can do.
I charge £30 for an hour primary and KS3. I charge £35 an hour for GCSE. This is to cover the time for planning and marking that occurs outside the session and the additional support I provide in the lead up to the exam.

Availability: I cover Henley in Arden, Stratford Upon Avon, Hockley Heath, Warwickshire, Wilmcote, Solihull, Knowle, Dorridge and Hockley Heath.
