I am a Chemistry PhD student at Imperial College London, having previously completed a Masters and BSc in Chemistry, for which I received the award for the highest overall mark on my course.

Even after many years of studying the subject I am enthusiastic about Chemistry and believe that this passion would enhance students’ enjoyment of the subject, in addition to their understanding. I aim to tailor the tutoring sessions to the students’ preference of learning style and needs, this can range from discussing the subject on a walk to focusing on practice questions.

I am a patient person who values the importance of fully understanding the content of the course in order to achieve the highest grades. This is especially important as exams change to include more content and test understanding to a greater extent than fact recall.

Experience: In terms of previous teaching experience, I held weekly interactive study sessions for undergraduate students for a year during my degree and tutored A-Level Chemistry.
