Information about Alice
Passionate about education, I enjoy helping a diverse range of students grow in confidence and achieve their goals. With a Masters in Employment Law, I am qualified to teach at University level but have recently specialised in helping both mainstream and excluded pupils with SEMH needs achieve GCSE/A` level in English. Law, Citizenship and Business Studies. My long-term experience is that many students benefit enormously from 1-1 teaching, whether in terms of regaining confidence to learn or the motivation needed to organise and prepare for exams.

Experience: Over 20 years of working in the education system, ranging from Higher Education to working as an Education Specialist for young people with special needs.
Specialised in 2019 teaching English GCSE, Citizenship and Law for both mainstream pupils and pupils with SEMH needs.
Having lived in Germany, I also have many years experience helping students prepare for IELTS exams, for both academic and work purposes, as well as for general EFL and translation courses.

Alice is a superb tutor. She is not only easy to talk to and approachable, but very experienced, able to inspire and achieves a lot in a revision session. She seems creative and has a flare and enthusiasm for what she teaches which helps my daughter to remember details and flourish herself. The tutor sessions with Alice have definitely increased my daughter`s confidence.
