A chemistry graduate (Studied Botany and Zoology in three year degree course) and have passed placements for PGCE secondary science course. I am currently teaching GCSE Science one 2 one basis and also working as supply teacher. Having taught physics, chemistry and biology to KS3-4 in placement schools has made me confident in teaching science. I Can teach KS 3-4 Math and Physics as studied at A-level.

Rewarding positive contribution, tactically ignoring secondary issues, involving pupils in group work and classroom discussions has been absolutely enjoyable, is result of CPD courses attended provided by school. Working as an unqualified teacher, student teacher, sales assistant and science technician has improved my communication skills also developed teamwork strategies

Experience: Joining university and training at placement schools has been a positive experience. Placement schools and working as supply teacher has improved behaviour management and practical lessons. Research in the area of girls in physics classroom, developed MTP for some topics as part of assignments also read educational literatures. Taught according to the course’s specification in the National Curriculum and also used the School’s scheme of work to provide the curriculum. Working as a student teacher, supported students to learn science with the help of experiments, supported animations, showing audio visuals and playing games. Throughout my teaching experiences I have been involved in the assessment of pupils` work at all levels, and in the preparation of schemes of work. Experience of putting equal opportunities into practice and it is an area which interests me in particular as being from a minority community myself. Understand the importance of course syllabus as it provides a broad and balanced structure of the course. Through my experiences as an unqualified teacher, a student teacher and as a lab technician, I have gained direct and practical experience of the importance of health and safety in teaching science and know the boundaries of what thing I may and may not do.
