I am a very experienced Teacher of Maths recently working full time in a secondary school and tutoring privately. I am up to date with the new GCSE curriculum. I teach both higher and foundation students.

I am fully aware of the struggles that students have in Maths-mostly due to gaps in their knowledge, lack of confidence in the subject and misconceptions of key topics.

My lessons are personalised to ensure the best progress in learning and confidence and I use an interactive whiteboard which works really well for my students. Lessons are also followed up with homework so that students have the opportunity to practice their skills.

I have a proven success record in teaching Maths-from Key Stage 1 and 2, Grammar school entrance exams, Key Stage 3 and GCSE exams.

Availability: I am available Monday to Friday 8:30 to 21:00. Please enquire.

Experience: I am a fully qualified Maths specialist. I have many years experience of teaching students age 11 - 16. I can help and support your child in preparing for their GCSE summer exam. However, I can also provide extra tuition to younger students who may need a confidence boost. In addition, I am also able to tutor primary school students, particularly those who are preparing for the 11+ exams.
As a qualified teacher, I have been DBS checked.
