Information about Francesca
I attended Wickersley School and Sports College from 2010 to 2016 where I achieved 13 A* at GCSE (Maths = A, Further Maths, English, Biology, Chemistry and Physics = A*) and AAA at A level (Biology, Chemistry, Maths). I graduated from the University of Manchester in 2019 with a First Class Honours degree in Biomedical Science. I am currently in my 2nd year of Graduate Medicine at the University of Manchester. I would love to tutor any students looking for help with biology or maths GCSE/A-level and any students looking for biology/life sciences degree help. I will also help students looking to study medicine with application help. I will aim to make sessions informative and also informal and enjoyable to help my students achieve their goals.
Availability: Available most evenings.
Willing to travel: 15 miles
Experience: Although I am a first time tutor, I can give advice and tips which I have found extremely useful throughout my school and university years. Moreover, in my 2nd year of university I was a peer-assisted support session (PASS) leader. This involved helping 1st year students adjust to university life and tutoring them in some of the more difficult course units. I am also a level 1 trampoline coach so I also have experience in practical teaching aspects and teaching students of a variety of ages.
