Information about Bill
I am now tutoring and taking bookings for both Summer and beginning in the new academic year.
I am physics and computer science graduate.
Although most of my career was spent in the IT industry, I have been working as a qualified teacher in one on the best performing state schools in Milton Keynes for the past five years. I am qualified to teach both physics and maths.
I have a good knowledge of the Edexcel, OCR and AQA syllabuses.
I prefer to visit students at home and do not offer online lessons. I like to work with students over the whole academic year.
Let me help enable the breakthroughs in understanding that will lead to the development of real proficiency.
Availability: Monday from 3:15 pm until 8:00 pm.
Tuesday from 4:30 pm till 8:00 pm.
Wednesday from 3:15 pm until 8:00 pm.
Sunday from 2:00 pm till 6:00 pm
Willing to travel: 5 miles

I found the site really useful to find a tutor and confirm what we were looking for prior to going ahead. My son has had Bill for a handful of lessons prior to his mock GCSEs and even that appears to have made a difference in his marks - I just wish we had known of him earlier! Bill listens to the child and in a very calm manner explains concepts really easily. His knowledge of teaching meant he is able to tailor the lesson to the child and it is easy to tell that as well as just teaching he has a love to make the child succeed. He really works on boosting confidence and encouragement taking time to go through and explain areas where the child is struggling. I appreciate the support and advice he has given both my son and myself.

We are extremely pleased with the tutoring our son is receiving. Every lesson is planned to my sons needs and is explained in a clear and concise manner that makes it interesting and easy to follow. My son is very happy and is progressing.
