Information about Abisola Tina
I`m a recent Mathematics graduate from the University of Southampton. I have a First Class Honours degree. I studied Maths, Chemistry, Biology and Psychiligy at A-level. I did an AS extended project in an historical topic.I have A-level in Chemistry, Biology, Maths and Psychology at grade BBAA. I got 10 A*-B grades at GCSE. I find that i can teach children easily as i can relate to them and understand why they have difficulties with learning. I can only do after school revision classes.I believe that if children understood what they were being thought it would stay with them always, most importantly during an exam, So my approach to teaching is to encourage and probe my tutee to understand. As soon as they do that they will be able to learn freely and remember what they have learned
Availability: Monday, Wednesday after 6pm
Saturday after 3pm
Free anytime on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday
Willing to travel: 15 miles
Experience: I have even tutoring young people from when I was 18. I have 6 months experience volunteering as a teaching assistant at a secondary school this year. I currently work at the Millennium Education centre based in Dagenham. I think that pupils learn best when they are given the tools they need to succeed in an environment where they can excel. I know from personal experience that getting an extra 5 minutes of help understanding a topic can really help solidify knowledge in a pupils` mind. I believe in getting the pupils the key to succeed but also giving them the opportunity and steps need to use the key.
