I am an experienced secondary school teacher of Mathematics (17 years). I am familiar with Edexcel and AQA Foundation examinations. I completed a Primary PGCE and have experience with teaching children from KS2 to KS4.

I enjoy the challenge of making Maths enjoyable and fun for students and plan lessons that are relevant and engaging.

I am looking to help children from KS2 to Foundation GCSE KS4, whether it is just to boost their school learning or to prepare for examinations.

I am willing to travel, depending on the distance and am more than happy to offer online lessons.

Availability: Monday to Friday after 4:30pm
Friday daytime.

Experience: I completed a Primary PGCE in 2006 and my first job was at a secondary school teaching Y7 students that were working below expected levels in English and Maths.

Over the years I began to specialise in English and Maths and have taught mainly Maths for over 14 years up to GCSE Foundation.

I have a lot of experience working with students that are working at below their age related level and enjoy encouraging students to see the fun in learning and learning Maths in particular.

I am looking to use my skills in planning, developing and delivering fun and engaging lessons in a different setting and am hoping that I can help students on a 1:1 basis or small groups.
