Information about Rachel
I am a friendly, enthusiastic and highly engaging teacher who is passionate about providing an enjoyable environment where children can thrive. I have a BA degree in childhood studies and a PGCE in primary education.I have been teaching for just over 4 years and have a wide range of experience working in foundation stage, Key stage 1 and now I am currently working in Key Stage 2. Throughout that time, all of my children have achieved excellent results in terms of academic success. Alongside my class teacher responsibilities, I am the Maths and Geography co-coordinator and have implemented a range of additional strategies to improve the overall teaching of mathematics.
Availability: Week nights from 5pm-8pm

Rachel tutored our daughter in maths from year 2 and has done an excellent job improving her ability and confidence. Our daughter was so upset about maths she didn`t want to go to school. Rachel quickly assessed where she was in relation to the requirements for her age and with the one on one relationship you just don`t get in school was able to show her different techniques to use and get a much more solid understanding of maths. My daughter very quickly trusted Rachel and was able to grasp all the elements of maths she needed to know and importantly gain confidence in maths. I`d highly recommend Rachel to anyone.

Rachel is an excellent tutor. My daughter immediately engaged with Rachel and enjoyed all her lessons. Our daughters maths and phonics improved dramatically after only a short period. Rachel is professional, punctual and would highly recommend.
