Myles

Hi! My name is Myles and I am currently a finalist in economics at the University of Warwick, supplemented by a track record of A*s and As at GCSE and A-Level. I am also a saxophonist, a swimmer and a cyclist.

Personally, I benefited from a tutor who worked closely with me in grammar school to make sure that I understood the principles of maths and science to the smallest details. I aim to tutor my students based on a relationship of trust, understanding and respect, and I always appreciate feedback where appropriate.

Lessons are oriented towards building confidence in a particular subject with the end goal of topic mastery. All students are capable of achieving the very best and persistent practice over the span of an hour allows for movement towards this level of competence.

I prepare all of my lessons 5-7 days ahead of time, taking into consideration the suitability of the content so I can deliver a tailored lesson at the right pace.

Experience: As a tutor, I have had 4 years experience with students ranging from age 5 to mature university students in economics and maths. Over the last year, I have received 50+ 5* ratings on MyTutor with over 1500 hours of tuition completed. I am fully DBS/CRB/ICPC checked.

20 + private students and up to 10 secondary school pupils managed at a time.

Over 250 lessons completed with schools and over 1000 hours completed privately.
