After a career providing IT services - including 7 years running my own IT services company, I have decided to concentrate on a second career teaching Maths. I am qualified as an adult education teacher and currently work part-time for Kings School Fair-Oak providing personal tutoring in Maths. I also work as a learning support assistant at Barton Peveril college in 2 GCSE maths classes (foundation and higher) for adults. My tutoring experience includes tutoring Maths to GCSE level, university entrance exams and I have helped PGCE applicants achieve their professional skills test in Maths. I have also provided tutorship in Maths as part of a foundation degree in Engineering (AS / A2 level). To date my students have achieved a 100% pass rate. I have worked with students of different natural abilities from those who find the subject very difficult through to those with a good general understanding but have some problems in particular subject areas.

- GCSE Maths
- Maths for University entrance
- Maths for foundation degree in Engineering
- Professional Skills test (Maths) for PGCE applicants.

I have also taught in a classroom setting:
- Learning support for adults in Functional Maths (Level 1 & 2)
- Learning support GCSE Maths (foundation and Higher)
