I have completed the teacher training course: “BTEC Level 3 Award in Education and Training (QCF)” from the Solihull College, Solihull. During the period (13th October 2014 – 11th December 2014): I worked as a Maths Tutor (volunteer role) in Greenwood Academy, Birmingham B35 7NL.
Presently, I am working as a Physics tutor (volunteer role) for the A-level students under the Access Project, C/O Teach First, 1 Victoria square, Birmingham B1 1BD. I am also working as a Maths Tutor (volunteer role) in Birmingham Adult Education Service (St. Georges Community Hub, Great Hampton Row, Newtown, Birmingham B19 3JG). I am providing support to the students to develop/increase independent learning skills in class room and one to one basis. I am also giving extra support to the student (who has dyslexia) in the class room to achieve his full progress. I am using a variety of learning approaches to motivate students, giving and receiving feedback to students, assessing works within time period and encouraging student development and progression.
Availability: I am available on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Willing to travel: 30 miles
Experience: I have completed Ph.D. (Materials Science) and M.Sc. (Physics). I can teach Maths ans Physics to the GCSE and A-level students.
