Callum

Hello - I`m Callum and I’m an experienced, professional and approachable tutor offering tuition of maths, further maths and physics at A-level, GCSE and KS3; also biology and chemistry at GCSE and KS3.

I hold grades A*AA at A-level in maths, further maths and physics. I also hold a 1st Class Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering (with honours). I currently work as a Design and Analysis Engineer in the fields of New Build Power Generation and Civil Assets.

I therefore have a very strong understanding of maths, science and engineering at both an academic level and a practical level as well as the skills and experience required to teach.

I tutor online via interactive whiteboards so that I, and students, can write out equations and problems and collaborate in real time online, maximising engagement and learning.

I have 2 years of experience as a private tutor in maths and science (physics, biology and chemistry), supporting students of all ages through their studies and helping them get more enjoyment from subjects and, ultimately, enable them realise their potential and achieve more. I continue to tutor in evenings and weekends because it is something I am passionate about and I am often told I am very good at explaining complex subject matters in a way people can understand and the gratitude students express when I help them understand a tricky subject matter is priceless.

Availability: Normal availability: Weekday evenings (Mon-Fri, 6pm - 10pm).
Additional availability (for students who also have mid-week sessions): Weekends (Sat-Sun, anytime).
