Abi

Hello I`m Abi and I am a student at The Bartlett School of Architecture UCL currently undertaking my masters degree in Architecture. The Bartlett School of Architecture is currently considered to be the No.1 architecture school in the world. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Nottingham attaining a first class degree classification.

Aside from architecture and design, I possess a strong interest in art, art history, history and literature and I am able to offer help within a wide range of subjects and interests.

I am extremely proficient within mathematics and creative writing and have received some of the highest grades within my university career that reflect this. I have also recently completed writing my first book that is rooted within local history of the Thames Estuary and its ecology which is an additional interest of mine.

My broad range of interests and enthusiasm for learning has enabled me to adapt a method of teaching which I tailor to each individual student.

Availability: I am currently extremely flexible and will do my best to accommodate whatever time is convenient for students.

Experience: I have plenty of experience in architectural tutoring at degree level as well as being a guest critic for undergraduate reviews at the University of Nottingham. I offer 1:1 portfolio guidance to students of varying levels (both on a one off or continual basis), whether it be A-level students creating a portfolio for university applications or undergraduate students simply looking for additional help. I can offer tutoring with both analogue and digital methods of design and communication, digital 3D modelling software such as Sketchup, Rhino and Blender, and most Adobe software.

In addition to this I also have experience tutoring GCSE and A-level students within Mathematics, Chemistry and Art and adult learners in various subjects such as Creative Writing and Fine Art.
