Olivia

Hi, my name is Olivia and I have recently completed my A levels at Wallington High School for Girls in Biology, Physics and Maths. I am looking to teach students from KS3 up to GCSE level in Maths.
The most important thing to me is that my lessons are engaging and enjoyable for
students as I strongly believe in the importance of natural motivation to succeed, as learning ought to be a pleasure rather than a chore. As well as this, I am aware that school can be very stressful for some students and my aim is to reduce this stress, not add to it.

As I teach older students, I take a flexible approach. I like to give students some choice in what they wish to cover and give the option of bringing in any schoolwork they are struggling with. Homework will be available, if parents and students think this is appropriate.

Availability: I am available every day, except on Mondays and Tuesdays when I am available from 12 onwards.

Experience: I have lots of experience tutoring primary English and GCSE and KS3 Maths. I have experience working with a variety of ages as I used to volunteer at school to mentor younger students and at rainbows where I was a leader.
