Hi. I’m Chris. I’ve been teaching Maths in schools for over 25 years now, to young people of all ages and abilities, and also as a private tutor both face-to-face and online. I believe that if it is explained clearly maths makes sense and doesn’t need to seem so difficult. I’m friendly, take the time to listen and try to make Maths more enjoyable.

Experience: I’ve spent 25 years teaching Maths. I’ve also been a Head of Maths in three schools, a Headteacher and an examiner for GCSE and A Level. I’ve have a lot of experience working with students one-to-one, helping them succeed in their Maths exams, including GCSE, IGCSE, A Levels and the 11 plus. As a GCSE and A Level examiner I have a good understanding of how to teach students the skills they will need to gain maximum marks in their exams.
