I`m a professional lecturer and researcher in Religious Studies / Philosophy (my specialism is in Jewish Studies). I have a PhD from the University of Nottingham and several peer-reviewed publications including my first book published by Routledge on Jewish Mysticism.

Availability: At the present I am only available for online lessons.

Willing to travel: 50 miles

Experience: I have taught Religious Studies and Philosophy at university level for six years, initially at the University of Nottingham and lately at Liverpool Hope University and the University of Chester where I am a visiting lecturer. I design modules and lessons, based around the individual needs of the individual or institution.

My style of teaching is to challenge and encourage independent thought. In philosophy and religion it is important to understand concepts from the inside, and often the culture they come from is alien to our own so I aim to provide the student tools to think themselves into the shoes of those we are working with. I am passionate about my profession and dedicated to bringing the best out of my students, as I believe these are the most important - not to say fascinating - subjects around.
