Mina

Hello, I am Mina. I am a friendly and enthusiastic English Language/ Literature and Arabic language tutor. I have been tutoring for the past 4 years. I tailor my teaching style to your needs as I know everyone learns in a different way. I know the struggles of having to take exams and the stress that you go through, so I try to help my students with their exam anxiety to support them in getting the best results that they can. I make sure to create a warm and open environment where you are able to ask any question that you may have. My lessons are a safe space for us to discuss any concerns that you have. We will work through it together.

You decide what you want to learn in the lesson. I will plan the lesson based on your learning concerns. We can go through homework, revision, essay preparation and anything else that you want to cover.

I am very passionate about helping you to reach your potential and I look forward to guiding you on your personal and academic journey.

Availability: In terms of my availability we can negotiate a time that works best for both of us. However, I am usually free most evenings.

Experience: I have tutored young students from the ages of 10-16 on the side whilst undertaking my degree. I have tutored 8 GCSE English students and they have all achieved grades 6-9. My tutoring experience started when I was undertaking my A level`s and I was asked to mentor GCSE students who were struggling on a weekly basis.

I also have the experience of teaching Arabic for beginner learners. I have tutored 5 university Arabic students during my time at university.
